| Adding a ShadeFX canopy to your pergola gives
you protection from both the sun and rain. The ShadeFX Uni-Rail
Drive Beam design supports the canopy with the drive in the middle,
eliminating any binding that can occur with outside mounted "track"
systems. This center rail mounts easily into notches cut into each
rafter. The ShadeFX canopy system offers 3 types of drive
mechanisms, manual, rope pulley and motorized. Due to Canopy
weight, for pergolas larger than the standard 16' x 16', the motorized
drive is mandatory. |

| Manual:
Move by pulling on a rope
pigtail. Retain by tying off a cleat at either end. |

Rope:
Move by drawing a
rope/pulley system similar to a curtain draw cord system.
A camlock retainer holds the rope to firmly secure the
canopy. |

Motor:
Move at the push of a
remote control button. ShadeFX motor drive systems use
food machinery components for the drive belt, bearings,
pulleys and transmission for ultra durable and weather
resistant operation. |
